New York—January 9, 2023—ERA today announced that it has selected its Winter 2023 class. The companies selected to participate in the four-month program are innovating in a variety of significant industries, all with businesses ready to take advantage of ERA’s platform and the broader New York City opportunity.

This is the Accelerator’s 24th program. ERA’s initial investment in participant companies is $150,000 on a post-money SAFE in return for 6% of each company.

Atlas Primer is a personal learning assistant that reads any text-based learning material out loud and converses about it in natural spoken language. It’s like having a tutor, only it’s both scalable and affordable.

Beagle Labs is an AI-driven SaaS platform for inspectors, property insurance adjusters and property managers. Our software utilizes computer vision to scan infrastructure and provide reports on damages and code violations. Beagle simplifies the tedious building inspection process.

CancerMark is a patient empowerment platform for cancer patients and their caregivers seeking the best care. Today the company announced $45M in Series D funding from Insight Venture Partners, Wildcat Capital Management, and RingCentral Ventures; this latest round of financing brings Glia’s total funding to $152M and its valuation to more than $1B.

Congratulations to Dan, Justin, and Carlos. We are incredibly proud of them and the company they have built that is transforming Digital Customer Service globally.

We met the team early in 2012, and became the company’s first investor that summer. Since then, we’ve continued investing in their Seed, A, and B rounds. We are thrilled to share the fantastic news with you about our newest unicorn, Katapult (W’13): today the company successfully completed its combination with FinServAcquisition Corp. The combined company will operate as Katapult Holdings, Inc. and will trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker KPLT.

Congratulations to Brandon Wright, Chinedu Eleanya, Orlando Zayas and the entire team. We are incredibly proud of them and the transformative company they have built.

We met the company’s founders in the Fall of 2012— when they had just begun defining their new business—and became the company’s first investor in 2013.

Since then, Katapult has become the leader in e-commerce point-of-sale purchase options for nonprime U.S. consumers.
